Ran the LuvMud 5k yesterday and it was a blast. If you are like me and get bored with the typical 5k's the LuvMud would have been perfect for you. There were obstacle courses, trail running, team racing, costumes, live music and a huge mud pit. And if the race did not make you feel good enough the money that was raised went to Habitat for Hope. There were well over 850 people out at Shelby Farms so the energy for the run was fantastic!
They are already planning a bigger and better run next year so if you did not get in the fun this time you don't want it miss it again! Remember this isn't your grandma's 5K so fit a lot of cross training into your workouts so you'll be ready to handle whatever they throw at you!
I did a very poor job with my costume considering I tried to throw something together race day after I went to church. I was supposed to be Rambo but as you can tell, I look more like some wannabe white rapper.

Anyway you need to get out there next year and make it happen. I will be doing a Klein Fitness team so let me know if you are interested.
