Why lifting weights is key to losing weight

Did you know that if you put on just 1lb of lean muscle, in one year you would burn an extra 18,000 calories, and that is if you just sit there! That is an extra 5lbs you would burn by doing nothing. Just think what could happen if you put on 5lbs of muscle.
