I am asked several times a week, How often should I train my abs, should it be every day, every workout, twice a day, once a week, if I train my abs will it remove the fat off of them, do I really need to diet?
All of these questions are good questions, but all have the same answer. Abs are like any other muscle group. Train them no more than 3 time a week, don't do the same exercises for the entire year. You have to eat health to get rid of the fat and no you can not spot train to get rid of it.
Cardio plays a big roll in revealing your abs, you can have the worlds best six pack but if you have a layer of fat covering it up, no one is going to see them. Make sure to get your cardio in and keep to a strict diet. And remember...genetics can come into play.
