Working out may not be able to change your I.Q or make you more intelligent, but it can help you to think better, have a clearer mind and be on top of your "game". How can this be? Let me give you an example.
Working out causes the brain to create new brain connections, so the more you do it the easier it becomes. This part of the reason it is recommended you switch up your workouts ever so often. Because your brain gets used to doing the same thing again and again and you start to see less results. This also means that the more complex the movement the more your brain has to work the more brain connections you will create.
This is just one way working out out can help you learn faster and become a more creative/efficient thinker. So next time you head off to workout remember that you are not only getting the physical benefits but you are also sharpening that brain and becoming a "smarter"you.
