
Having an active life style requires a lot more than just hitting the gym every other day. If you think about it just how much sitting or non activity do you do in a day? Sleep, wake up, eat breakfast (sitting down), drive to work (sitting), sit at your desk in front of your computer, eat lunch (sitting), drive home (sitting), watch your tv (sitting). That is a lot of non-activity and it can wreak havoc on your body.
This article in Men's Health goes into a lot more detail and is a great read. But what I want you to do is take a second to think about you activity level and what you can do to improve it. Not just going to the gym everyday but walking more, riding your bike to work, mowing your yard instead of paying someone to, jogging over your lunch break, regularly getting up from your desk and becoming active at work. Be creative...it could save your life.
