
This is Megan, the other side of Klein Fitness. Unlike my fantastically fit husband, I could always use a workout buddy. We ladies are relational. Long runs seem easier when there is someone to distract me from the sound of sucking air into my lungs.
Well I was jogging along the river this morning, wishing I had just such a buddy, when a couple of folks from Bar Dog stopped me (it wasn't hard, I was looking for an escape) and told me about a group run that they have every Monday night at 7:00p.m. and Wednesday morning

Here's how you make instant running friends. Just show up at Bardog at 6:50 pm or am depending on the day. From there the group runs a course that is 5-7 miles with break off points at 3 and 4 miles. All levels/paces are welcome and afterwards people hang out at the "underdog" for a drink and some fun. (Hey at least you run the calories off first...so its kind of break even.)
So come out, make some new friends and support local businesses.
